"Everyone has a light and I want to help each patient to start to see the light they offer the universe"

-Lauren Yerger-

Lauren empowers individuals by providing counseling to treat addictions, depression, anxiety, and co-occurring Mental health. She works with an understanding that Mental Health is just as important as physical health. Dedicated to helping  change the stigma attached to Mental Health with a firm belief that no one should be defined by their emotional health. Lauren uses her training to help the patients she serves use mental health as a tool to improve strength and confidence. Armed with a Bachelors degree in Social Science, a minor in substance abuse, and a masters degree in counseling with a concentration in addiction to empower the patients she serves. Some of her experiences in Mental health included working in the juvenile detention center, High Schools, and Detox centers. Inspired by past patient who have beat addiction and others who have learned how to manage stress and anxiety. Lauren's approach to counseling is that everyone has something to give out to the universe that can help inspire others. Influenced by her grandmother who went through tough times but never gave up. Teaching Lauren to never give up and the power individuals possess to succeed. Being non judgmental and respectful of all people from all backgrounds has helped her treat patients as individuals and unique with their own special story. Lauren is ready to put in the work and walk with you through time of healing and improving.
